A speaking presentation at St. George

This ministry conducts speaking presentations aimed at spreading devotion to Our Lady, the Saints, and their respective Holy Relics.  These presentations are ideal for parish groups/associations, for youth groups (ages 14+), and for RCIA and Confirmation-related classes.  Information concerning these presentations are detailed below:


SAINTS & HOLY RELICS PRESENTATION

Objectives:
  • To share the biblical and historical background on the Catholic Church’s teachings about the concept of Sainthood and the veneration of Holy Relics
  • To share the steps involved in the Canonization Process, that the Church strictly follows in recognizing its Saints
  • To share the inspirational lives of several Saints and other Catholic spiritual role-models with an emphasis on the lives of modern Saints and candidates for Sainthood
  • To share several authentic Holy Relics for the public veneration of the Faithful, so as to encourage devotion to the Saints and Blesseds, and their hallowed remains

MARIAN APPARITIONS & SAINTS PRESENTATION

Objectives:
  • To share the Church's teachings on Private Revelations, mainly focused on Mary's reported appearances; includes a general overview of several modern, church-approved Marian apparitions
  • To share the relevance of Our Lady's urgent and prophetic messages directed towards all mankind
  • To share the lives of several major Marian Saints and their respective relics (e.g. St. Bernadette of Lourdes); the relevance of their faith-examples for all Believers 
  • To provide an overview of the various signs witnessed in association with Mary's appearances, including my own personal testimony and remarkable experiences concerning the Mystical Rose apparitions (e.g. phenomenon of escarchas)

THE EUCHARIST: HEART OF THE CHURCH PRESENTATION

Objectives:
  • To share both the biblical basis and sacred tradition (from the writings of the early Church Fathers) concerning the Catholic Church’s teaching on the Holy Eucharist
  • To share examples of the deep devotion of the Saints to the Blessed Sacrament, as well as, miraculous Eucharistic signs in the lives of certain mystics (their respective relics will also be displayed)
  • To provide an overview of a few approved Eucharistic Miracles from around the world


PRESENTATION DETAILS

  • Presentations are conducted free-of-charge and donations are not solicited at the event
  • Presentations must have at least 10 participants to schedule and availability is subject to the ministry administrator's discretion and schedule
  • Presentations require at least two weeks of preparation time, prior to a requested date
  • Presentations typically last between 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, covering information gleaned from over 25 years of research and personal experiences related to apparitions, hagiography, and relics
  • Presentations are conducted in a casual speaking format, accompanied by an informative and interesting photo slideshow
  • Up to 12 relics are displayed for public veneration during the Saints & Holy Relics Presentations (see below) and time for veneration, prayer, and reflection is allotted after
  • Assistance with promotional flyers is available for parishes/groups scheduling a Presentation

However, for those relics that are missing certification, this ministry has permission from the Diocese of Honolulu to present them in an educational setting, provided I disclose to the audience there are no certificates available.
