Our Lady, Queen of the Divine Will

The photo above was taken of the sky above my parish church of St. Anthony of Padua, in Kailua, on the night of Wednesday, 6/19/2019.  It was taken by this writer just a few minutes before the start of that evening's FIAT: Faith In Action Today prayer group meeting.

To the surprise and joy of our FIAT members, it seems the photo unexpectedly captured a faint, yet recognizable image, of the Blessed Virgin.  I didn't see Our Lady when I snapped the pic but her figure was noted a few hours later - she's in the center of the photo and seems to be praying while looking down at our church.

An image of Mary we discern in the photo.

Incidentally, the special topic/lesson during the FIAT meeting was about Our Lady's role as a mentor and model of submitting to the will of God in our day-to-day lives.

Furthermore, we honor the Virgin at each meeting under the title of Queen of the Divine Will, displaying a unique representation of Mary (shown below) and reciting a Consecration Prayer to her Immaculate Heart.

Therefore, I believe the unusual photo is a sign - a remarkable affirmation from Our Lady of her willing acceptance of our consecration; her spiritual presence among us as both Queen and solicitous Mother... and we love her dearly in return.
