From Rome to Kailua: Did Our Lady make a visit?

Before leaving I took a photo of the sky and I think I may have unexpectedly captured another image of the Blessed Virgin in it - see below:

What immediately struck me was the figure's striking resemblance to a series of little-known Marian apparitions that occurred at Tre Fontane (Rome), beginning in April 1947.  This shrine is personally meaningful to me because I actually visited the place twice in 1989; again in 2005; recently, in October 2024.  Each visit was grace-filled as I profoundly felt the presence of God and Our Lady at the Sacred Grotto where the apparitions took place.  Words aren't sufficient to express what I experienced there and I will never forget it.

Going back to the photo, it impressed me that the image of our Holy Mother appears to be carrying a large golden book, which I can only speculate is the Bible.  In her appearances at Tre Fontane, she also held the Bible to her heart although it wasn't as big as seen in the pic I snapped.  Still, I can't help but recall my pilgrimages to the Tre Fontane Sanctuary whenever I look at the photo.  Its resemblance to the statue in the grotto is remarkable!

I didn't hear any words while I was at the St. John Vianney shrine, but to discern the visible figure of the Virgin Mary holding the Bible is a powerful message in itself.  I also feel this photo is a signal for my ministry to help make the great events that transpired at Tre Fontane more known.  So click/tap here to learn more about this special Marian Sanctuary.
