First Saturday Parish Rosary at St. Anthony's Church, 5/5/2012

St. Anthony Church parishioners &
visitors praying the Rosary for Peace

Mary, the Mystical Rosepray for us!
This evening, our Kailua parish’s group of Marian devotees again gathered in the Day Chapel of St. Anthony’s Church to honor Our Lady with her favorite prayer - the Holy Rosary. Dear friends from Mililani made a return-visit to join us in prayer, and a new participant was also a welcomed sight among the monthly regulars.

In addition to praying the rosary, we venerated the Blessed Mother’s veil-relic, which made its return visit to the prayer gathering after being absent during the Lenten Season. The Saint of the Month - St. Dymphna, Virgin & Martyr - was also represented on the display altar, via a 1st Class Relic from her bones; the narration of her heroic martyrdom made a deep impression with the group that gathered this evening.

The next First Saturday Rosary for Peace will be prayed on Saturday, June 2nd. All are welcomed to pray with us and to venerate the Sacred Relics of Our Lady and the Saints.

Lady's statue looks almost transparent.
