My parish is currently in the midst of an Advent "Novena of Masses" in spiritual preparation for Christmas. Each Mass has been preceded with a Rosary Prayer. It's all so meaningful and beautiful.
At last night's Saturday evening Vigil Mass - Day 6 of our Novena of Masses - this author witnessed a bearded face of a man appear on our 4th Advent Candle during the Rosary. I thought to myself: How appropriate and relevant that the Lord would manifest His likeness on the candle that represents LOVE! And He had a big smile, too!
